Hi! My name is Niya (Shaniya), and I’m a 19-year-old college student with a strong passion for childcare and education. As the oldest in my family with seven younger siblings, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I’ve also worked at a summer camp for the past three years, where I’ve supported kids with many different personalities and worked closely with parents to ensure a safe, fun, and positive environment. These experiences have helped me become patient, responsible, and adaptable in any situation. I’m currently enrolled at CCRI and working toward a degree in teaching, as I truly love helping children learn and grow. I’m very outgoing, reliable, open-minded, and always willing to try new activities to keep kids engaged and happy.
