About Priya
Hi, I’m Priya! I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied biology and creative writing. I have been working with kids since high school, when I worked as a camp counselor at robotics summer camps hosted by my FIRST Robotics Team. In addition to babysitting and working as a camp counselor throughout university, I have worked with infants and toddlers as a Playroom Associate and also spent a year teaching English to middle and high school students in Valencia, Spain. Recently, I have worked in Chicago Public Schools through the YMCA as a Youth Enrichment Instructor, with roles including after-school program coordination and lunch/recess supervision. This summer, I taught arts and crafts at a summer camp, where I was responsible for designing art projects for children between the ages of two and fourteen.
