About Sofia

Hi! My name is Sofia! I have over 10 years of childcare experience and absolutely love working with kids. I’m currently in an accelerated nursing program and hope to eventually work in pediatrics. Before starting nursing school, I worked as an aide supporting children on the autism spectrum in home, school, and clinical settings. Prior to that, I spent a year in Spain teaching English to middle school students. During college, I worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, and swim instructor with children of all ages. I love getting creative with kids and encouraging them to be involved in all parts of the day, from playing I Spy on neighborhood walks and getting creative with arts and crafts, to helping out in the kitchen, reading stories, and finding fun ways to explore their interests. I’m looking for occasional, as needed opportunities to support families and spend time with kids while I’m in my nursing program. I’d love to get to know your family and help make your time away from your little ones easy and stress free!
