About Payton

Hi Families! I’m a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic sitter with experience working with children across a variety of ages and developmental stages. I have babysitting experience with children as young as 6 months old and also spent about three years working in a preschool setting. Through these experiences, I have learned how important it is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, which gave me a strong understanding of child development and the different ways children grow, learn, and interact with the world around them. I am currently continuing my education in graduate school, where I am pursuing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. My background in childcare, human development, and occupational therapy has strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, adaptable, and intentional when caring for children. Most importantly, I strive to create an environment where children can have fun, feel supported, and stay safe while in my care.
