Hello! My name is Jaleah J! I’m currently pursuing my graduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Kent State University, and I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alabama State University. I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager, mostly caring for the children of family and close friends. I also completed the Early Childhood Education Career Tech program at Mentor High School, which gave me a great foundation in childcare and child development. One of my most meaningful and consistent babysitting experiences was caring for a set of twins from when they were 4 months old until they turned 2. I truly love being around children and enjoy getting to know each child’s personality, interests, and individual needs. I also have experience caring for children with special needs and understand the importance of being patient, attentive, and adaptable. I believe caring for someone’s child is a very special responsibility, and I want every parent to feel completely comfortable and confident while their child is in my care. I’m respectful of each family’s routines, rules, and parenting styles, and I’m always happy to follow the schedule and instructions you provide. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Most importantly, I want your child to feel safe, comfortable, heard, and cared for while we’re together.
