Hi! My name is Katherine, and I’m a senior Biology student at St. John’s University on the pre-veterinary track. I’m a caring, responsible, and patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I have several years of hands-on babysitting experience. Throughout high school and college, I regularly cared for my niece while her mother worked full-time. I was responsible for looking after her, keeping her safe and entertained, helping with her daily routines, and making sure she was comfortable and well cared for. This experience taught me how to be dependable, attentive, and patient while caring for a child. As a Biology and pre-veterinary student, I’m also very responsible, organized, and comfortable following routines and instructions. I’m happy to help with age-appropriate activities, playtime, meals, homework, and keeping children engaged in a safe and positive environment.
