About Mickey
Hello! I'm Mikayla or Mickey Lundquist. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Canton, and I am progressing my education online. I have been in the childcare field for over seven years as an educator, TA, and instructor, teaching all age groups from 6 weeks to 21 years. As an educator, I believe in play-based education not only to engage children but also to help them better understand the material, the world around them, and themselves through hands-on experience. More personally, as both a teacher and an individual, my goal is to create a safe space for all children where they feel heard, seen, and understood. I believe that every child is important and deserves a well-rounded, supportive education experience, for them and their families.
