About Natalia

Hi, My name is Natalia M. I am 18 years old and currently enrolled as a freshman at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. During my senior year, I worked at a daycare in my hometown for about 6 months. I had experience caring for children from 6 months-8 years old, as well as children who had autism. I also have volunteered at my school’s summer school program for elementary students and worked with students from kindergarten-5th grade, as well as being a teacher aid throughout my senior year for a 1st grade class. While helping with school children, I learned how to deal with children with autism, ADHD, and have a bit of experience with dyslexia. Lastly, I have been a babysitter for several family friends with children from ages 2-12. Some of my responsibilities include changing the children, bathing and feeding them, putting them to bed, and taking them on walks to the pool/park as entertainment. Through my volunteer position with summer school and as a teacher aid, I have learned how to help the children create several arts and craft projects, as well as how to have the proper patience needed when caring for children.
