Early Childhood Educator with 10+ years of experience in healthcare ancillary support and early childhood development. I hold an Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, with strong training in child development, guidance strategies, and creating supportive learning environments using developmentally appropriate practices. My academic and professional experience includes utilizing assessment tools such as anecdotal records, developmental checklists, and running records to effectively design lesson plans, create structured learning environments and support diverse learners with and without exceptionalities. I have worked in multiple early childhood settings, including roles as an infant teacher, toddler lead teacher, and summer camp counselor. I also served as a SPED paraprofessional, providing academic, behavioral, emotional, and social support to students with varying needs. In addition, I have several years of experience working as a nanny for multiple families. My most recent position involved supporting a child with unique needs, where I accompanied him at school, attended weekly occupational and speech therapy sessions, and collaborated with therapists to reinforce developmental and academic goals and skills throughout daily routines across home and school environments. I supported goals related to fine motor development, core strength, balance, communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and academic skills during school breaks.I bring a highly dependable, knowledgeable, and developmentally informed approach to childcare.
