About Heather

I have been a caregiver from a young age . Helping care for my much younger sister and many younger cousins and babysitting throughout my adolescence and teenage years. I was a nanny to two different families between the years 1996 and 2003. I then became a stay at home/ homeschooler mother to three daughters . They are all grown now. During those years I was a volunteer teacher at a small private school, provided after school care and babysitting for many friends children. I volunteered at animal shelters, food banks and at a rehabilitation center. I most recently lived abroad with my family in Korea and returned to the States last year settling in Henderson. My middle daughter is a type 1 diabetic since the age of three , so for more than 18 years I have provided care and advocacy for her . She is also dyslexic. I have also cared for a child with CF , and a couple that were on the spectrum. I am well versed in all ages and am a loving and attentive caregiver. I truly enjoy children and people and have a great passion for helping others and caring for those in need. I’m very active and creative. I love being outdoors and reading. Raising my daughters and providing a loving, safe and encouraging environment for them, their friends and other children has been a gift and most fulfilling experience for me.
