Hi! My name is Celina, I am a 21 year old college student, and I have been working with children for most of my life. I started babysitting at thirteen, caring for family and friends children, and that experience sparked my passion for working with kids. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of childcare settings, including as an after-school summer camp counselor, a gymnastics coach, a daycare worker, and a nanny. I also have experience working with children with special needs, including a non-verbal autistic child, which deepened my interest in cognitive development and child psychology. In September 2024, I began working as a daycare worker, where I cared for 1- and 2-year-olds and earned my Early Childhood Development Certification. I am currently a gymnastics coach and work as a nanny for family with a 1 year old and 4 year old with severe autisum, who will no longer need me next month in September due to them both starting school. I have worked with children of all ages, primarily between 1 and 12 years old. I am a laid-back and flexible person who understands the importance of patience and kindness when working with children. Whether implementing arts and crafts, encouraging active outdoor play, or helping with daily routines, I prioritize creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel respected and cared for! I’m always happy to be a helping hand for families, providing support in any way I can to ensure a smooth and positive experience for both parents and children.
