About Jessyca

Hi! I’m Jessyca, an incoming MSW student at Washington University in St. Louis with a BS in Child Development from Vanderbilt University. I love working with children and have experience at two summer camps, including a medical camp serving children with disabilities and complex medical needs. I’m comfortable supporting children with a wide range of developmental, communication, and physical needs, and I have training in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). I’m also CPR certified and I have my food handler’s license. I’m patient, energetic, creative, and love finding activities that match each child’s personality and interests. Whether we’re doing arts and crafts, baking, playing games, or just hanging out, my goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can be themselves. I’m also an animal lover with experience working at a grooming salon and fostering animals through Nashville Humane Association, so pets are always welcome! :)
