Hi! I’m Ashlyn, and I recently moved to Petoskey. I’ve been caring for kids since I was 10, when I started as a mother’s helper for a family with newborn twins and a 2-year-old. As I got older, I babysat for multiple families in my hometown, caring for children ages 0-12. Most recently, I worked as a kindergarten teacher, so I’m comfortable keeping little ones engaged, managing routines, and handling big feelings with patience. I’ve also worked with children with autism. Before teaching, I was a swim coach and lessons instructor, where I focused on water safety and building kids’ confidence. I love getting kids outside, doing crafts, and baking together. I’m reliable, calm, and keep parents updated on how the day went. I have my own car and can help with pickups and drop-offs. I’ve been CPR and First Aid certified in the past and am happy to renew it. I’d love to help your family!
