I am looking for SUMMER hours Hi! I'm Amanda, and I have over 20 years of experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school. I'm a teacher with experience in special education, as well as a former long-term nanny who loves creating safe, fun, and engaging environments where children can learn, play, and grow. I spent seven years as a full-time nanny for three children, caring for them from infancy through their school-age years. I managed daily routines, transportation, meals, homework, appointments, and activities while building strong, lasting relationships with both the children and their family. In addition to nannying, I've worked as a special education teacher, trauma-informed paraprofessional, ABA behavior therapist, and currently teach elementary school. I have experience supporting children with a variety of learning styles and developmental needs, including autism and ADHD, and I'm patient, calm, and skilled at helping children feel successful and supported. I love incorporating creativity into childcare through arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, games, and hands-on activities.
