About Jordan

Hi, my name is Jordan! I’m a recent graduate from Tulane University School of Medicine master’s program where I earned a degree in anatomy, with a background in chemistry and biology. My ultimate goal is to become a physician specializing in pediatrics, and I have a deep passion for caring for others, especially children. I have extensive experience working with kids of all ages, from newborns to preteens. I previously worked at the Boys & Girls Club with children ages 11-13, spent four years babysitting newborns to five-year-olds, worked at Newman School with Pre-K and Kindergarten students, and currently engage 1st-5th grade students at Isidore Newman School through leading science experiments in the after school program. In addition to my love for working with kids, I’m an avid roller skater! I enjoy staying active and bringing a sense of fun and creativity into childcare, whether that’s through outdoor play, arts and crafts, science experiments, or helping with schoolwork. I’m energetic, responsible, and patient, always striving to create a fun and safe environment for the children I care for. I also have experience with allergies and can accommodate special dietary needs. Further, I am CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through American Heart Association. Whether it’s helping with homework, engaging in creative play, or keeping up with active little ones, I’m committed to making sure every child feels happy and cared for.
