About Skyla-Rose

Hi! I’m a reliable, patient, and caring childcare provider with experience working with children of all ages in both professional and family settings. My passion for working with kids began in high school, where I participated in after-school and summer camp programs, helping create fun, engaging, and safe environments for children. Since then, I’ve worked as a substitute teacher, giving me experience managing classrooms, supporting students with different needs, and building positive relationships with children. I’ve also babysat for family members and family friends for many years. Most recently, I spent a year as a full-time nanny, where I was responsible for school pick-up and drop-off, preparing meals, helping with homework, taking children to parks and extracurricular activities, maintaining household organization, and light housekeeping. I understand how important it is to provide dependable care while keeping children happy, active, and safe. In addition to childcare, I currently work as an Administrative Assistant and have previous experience as a Personal Assistant. These roles have strengthened my organization, communication, time management, and multitasking skills qualities that help me provide dependable, attentive care for both children and families. I’m dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoy creating a positive environment where children can learn, have fun, and feel comfortable.
