Hello! I'm Desiree (Des-i-ray), born & raised in New Orleans. I am currently in my last year of undergrad at LSU, majoring in Sociology & Spanish. I am also bilingual in both Spanish & English. I am a preschool teacher assistant at Benjamin Thomas Academy ranging from the age of 2 mo- 5 yrs. I also helped in John Curtis Aftercare Program as a teacher assistant throughout high school. I have 7-8 years of experience with child care in different age groups (2mo-12yrs). I am also certified in CPR and under the Louisiana Department of Education. This school required a background check & fingerprints, which all was clear. Achievements include: - Assisted children with homework assignments and special projects across different subjects. - Offering age appropriate, fun and educational activities for children ranging from two years old to 12 years old. - Organized and cleaned up the home after activities by picking up toys and straightening the playroom. - Adhered to parents desired feeding schedule and parenting plan. Fun Fact About Me: I learned how to play 7 instruments when I was younger & marched in parades in 8th grade. I appreciate you taking the time to read through my profile.
