Hi! I'm Akeyna! I'm a patient, dependable, and energetic caregiver who genuinely loves working with children. My childcare journey began by helping care for my autistic cousin and later my younger brother, experiences that taught me compassion, adaptability, and how to support each child's unique personality and needs. I enjoy building meaningful connections with children while creating a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable. As I got older, I turned that passion into professional experience by working as a weekend birthday party host at a daycare before transitioning into leading my own classroom during the daycare's summer camp program. I've worked with children of all ages and love planning engaging activities, helping with routines, and making every child feel included. My goal is to give parents peace of mind, knowing their children are safe, happy, and cared for like family.
