About Emery

I was homeschooled, so I've been teaching and taking care of kids since forever! I was involved member and leader of AHG (American Heritage Girls) and have worked extensively with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) and AWANA, so hanging with kids is second nature. I am energetic, positive, and I'm also very creative. I enjoy drawing, music, and writing in my free time, and I LOVE making up games. I have four crazy younger brothers, all of whom I have tutored in multiple subjects over the years, in every grade level. If your kids have homework to do, or if they need help with a certain subject, I am more than happy to assist (without just giving them the answers, haha)! I also served for over a year as a household manager/sitter for a family in my area, who will be one of the references provided. I believe in gentle correction that leads by example. I'm great at problem-solving between kids. Biblical values like honesty, patience, and justice are my core principles. My main goal is to keep your kids safe, comfortable, and to create an environment where they can effectively learn and grow, but also have a blast.
