About Bethany

Hello! My name is Bethany B, but I go by Beth. I work as a Dental Assistant at Panhandle Counseling & Health Service in Guymon, Oklahoma, and I live just outside of Turpin, Oklahoma, with my two dogs. I am passionate about helping others and have always enjoyed working with children and volunteering in my community. I am a member of the Rotary Club in Guymon, where our motto is "Service Above Self.” I have embraced this principle in my everyday life since joining. Additionally, I am First Aid Certified and keep my BLS certification up to date. I have extensive experience working with children, largely due to my large family—as I have 15 nieces and nephews! This has provided me with valuable real-life experience and skills that many without children may lack. My background doesn't just come from being a devoted aunt; one of my first jobs was working part-time in the nursery of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where I grew up. In that role, I cared for children aged 0-24 months. I also served briefly as a Special Education Paraprofessional for Pre-K at Washington Elementary in U.S.D. 480. During the school closures in 2020, I had the opportunity to help two of my nephews continue their education, and I was thrilled to teach one of them how to read. This achievement was significant for both of us! I encourage children to have fun while engaging in developmentally appropriate activities. When you choose me as your nanny or babysitter, you can be confident that your child or children will be in the hands of someone dedicated to stimulating their minds, encouraging their growth in all aspects of life, and communicating effectively with both the children and their parents.
