About Dejha

Hi! I'm a Chicago Public Schools teacher looking to babysit this summer while school is out. I have over five years of experience working with children, including teaching 1st grade for four years, Kindergarten for one year, and I'll be teaching 3rd grade this upcoming school year. Before becoming a teacher, I also worked in a daycare caring for 1-year-olds, 2-year-olds, and preschoolers. Caring for children has always been something I truly enjoy. I'm patient, dependable, and love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can learn, play, and feel comfortable. Whether we're reading books, making crafts, playing games, spending time outside, or working on age-appropriate learning activities, I enjoy keeping children engaged while making sure they feel cared for. As both a teacher and a mom, I understand how important it is to leave your child with someone you can trust. My goal is to give parents peace of mind by providing attentive, reliable care while making sure their little ones have a fun and positive experience.
