Hi families,I’m Melody! I’m a warm, calm, and patient childcare professional with over 5 years of experience working with children 6 weeks- 9years old. I truly enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and creating a caring, nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Reggio, Waldorf, and Montessori-inspired teaching styles. I love bringing elements of these approaches into everyday activities, especially through art, creativity, and sensory play. I enjoy creating activities that allow children to explore, get curious, use their imagination, and learn through hands-on experiences. I’m CPR/AED and Anaphylaxis trained, and I’m also a non-smoker. The safety and well-being of the children I care for is always one of my top priorities. Outside of childcare, I love reading, yoga, cooking, going for walks, and visiting farmers markets on Sunday mornings. I enjoy a slower, intentional lifestyle and love sharing that sense of curiosity and appreciation for the little things with children. Most of all, I genuinely love working with children. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them grow, discover new interests, and become more independent. I strive to be a dependable and nurturing presence for both the children and their families.
