About Yaritza

Hi! My name is Yaritza, and I have approximately eight years of experience working with children of all ages. My journey in early childhood education began during my sophomore year of high school, and since then I have developed a strong passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive in safe and nurturing environments. I have experience caring for children from as young as six weeks old through 12 years of age. Over the years, I have babysat for local families and worked professionally in childcare settings. I served as a Lead Teacher in a daycare center for over three years, where I planned age-appropriate activities, supported children's social-emotional development, maintained a safe classroom environment, and partnered closely with families to support each child's success. In addition to my childcare experience, I have worked in elementary school settings through clinical placements and educational experiences. I also hold a Substitute Teaching License, which has allowed me to work with children in classroom environments and support students with diverse learning needs. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with ESL and Bilingual endorsements. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I enjoy supporting children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I am CPR and First Aid certified, giving families added peace of mind that their children are in safe and capable hands. I am known for being patient, reliable, organized, and engaging. Whether it's helping with homework, creating fun learning activities, assisting with daily routines, preparing meals, or simply providing a caring and supportive environment, I strive to make every child feel valued, safe, and encouraged.
