About Alyssa

I’m a kind, patient, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys being around children and helping them learn, play, and feel comfortable. I’m currently studying Early Childhood Education at NIU and have earned my ECE Level One Credential. I’ve had experience working with children through babysitting, my vocational childcare classes, and helping in preschool and elementary settings. I especially love doing crafts, playing games, reading stories, and finding fun activities that match each child’s personality and interests. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the person caring for their children, so I always try to be responsible, attentive, and respectful of each family’s routines and expectations. Building positive relationships with children is one of my favorite parts of working with them, and I love being someone they can feel safe, happy, and themselves around. I’m hoping to become a preschool teacher in the future, so caring for and working with children is something that truly means a lot to me. 💕
