About Christine

I have extensive experience working with children. I currently volunteer as an assistant Sunday school teacher at my church, where I welcome children into the classroom, distribute snacks and water, and guide them through the day's lesson. Further, at my prior church, I served as the lead Sunday school teacher, taking full responsibility for structuring and delivering the curriculum. I have also previously volunteered as a girl scout troop leader, where I was responsible for planning the curriculum for the girls each semester. This included selected the badges they would pursue and the activities they would complete to earn the badges. My experience has taught me how to develop structured routines for children that are engaging and educational. Further, my experience has taught me how to remain calm in stressful situations, how to effectively de-escalate conflicts, and how to quickly pivot from one task to another in order to ensure that every child in my care feels attended to and supported.
