About Marlyse

I started babysitting when I was 15 years old as a freshman in high school. Before then, I would watch my neighbors’ kids here and there, but my first official babysitting job came through one of my older cousins. She had been babysitting for a wonderful family, but when she got married and moved to New York, she recommended me to take over. We started off little by little so the family could get to know me and build trust, and before long I officially became their babysitter. I’ve now been babysitting for almost five years, and it’s been so rewarding getting to watch the two girls I babysit grow up. They are now 11 and 8 years old, and they are some of the sweetest, funniest, smartest kids I know. We love playing games, doing crafts, baking, spending time outside, and coming up with fun activities together. A few years ago, they also welcomed a puppy into their family, and I’ve loved helping care for her too. Over the years, this family has truly become like a second family to me, and I’m so grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me. I’m about to be a sophomore in college, and I genuinely love working with kids. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and caring environment where children feel comfortable, and where parents can feel confident knowing their kids are in good hands. I’d love the opportunity to build that same relationship with your family.
