About Leah

Hi, I'm Leah! I grew up in New Hampshire, went to college in Salt Lake City, and have lived in Missoula for five years. When I'm not with kids I ski, hike, work in my garden, bake sourdough, or make jewelry for my small business. I started babysitting at fifteen and taught swim lessons at our local lake and the YMCA through high school. In college, I worked for Park City Sitters, a sitting agency for vacationing families, and also worked part-time as a nanny for local families. I became Park City Sitters' go-to infant sitter and cared for babies as young as six weeks old. Many families asked for me again every time they came back to town, which still means a lot to me. I also nannied for local families during the school year. After college, I ran a licensed after-school and summer program in New Hampshire, supported kids in a special education classroom, and started my own babysitting business that covered weddings and events. Since moving to Montana, I've babysat for guest families at Paws Up and spent a few years working with kids and teens as a school-based mental health clinician. Right now I'm a date-night sitter for a few Missoula families. I also work as an executive assistant and household manager for two private clients, handling errands, meal planning, laundry, and scheduling. I've cared for kids with autism, ADHD, anxiety, diabetes, and epilepsy, and I'm comfortable with blood sugar checks and giving medication as parents direct. With kids, I like to keep things hands-on and mostly screen-free. I bring boxes of books, toys, and art supplies, and we do a lot of park trips, slime, baking, crafts, and pretend play. I also love teaching the stuff I did as a kid in the '90s, like friendship bracelets and cat's cradle. Every family does things differently, so I follow your routines and rules and keep you in the loop. My goal is for your kids to feel safe and have fun, and for you to feel totally at ease while you're gone. I have current references I'm happy to
