About Sierra

Hi, my name is Sierra! I’m currently a freshman at UCF studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. I’ve always had a natural love for children and genuinely enjoy connecting with them, learning their personalities, and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment. I lost my little sister when she was young (6) and I’ve always cherished the memories of her younger energy and the time we spent playing together. I find that same sunshine in every child I meet, which is one of the reasons I love working with children so much. I have about five years of babysitting experience and really enjoy building connections with both children and their families. As someone with significant hearing loss who wears hearing aids, I have a personal understanding of disabilities and communication differences, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and especially passion for creating an inclusive environment for every child. My preferred babysitting times are Friday evenings and weekends, as those work best with my college schedule. I am EKG Tech certified and previously held a Medical Administrative Assistant certification. I was previously CPR and BLS certified and am currently working on renewing those certifications. Outside of school and babysitting, I love cooking, keeping things clean and organized, and doing arts and crafts. I especially enjoy finding creative ways to keep children engaged and having fun, not bored. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and become someone you can trust to care for your little ones. I’m always happy to help in any way I can!
