About Shea

Hi, my name is Shea. I am a pre-nursing student at the University of Central Florida going into my sophomore year who loves working with kids. I have paid experience as a camp counselor with a local police department, where I completed an extensive background screening, as well as two seasons of coaching young girls in cheerleading. I’m patient, energetic, and love keeping kids engaged through games, crafts, outdoor activities, and helping with homework. I graduated high school with a 4.95 GPA, earned the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, and was actively involved in student government as Vice President and Historian, so I’m always happy to help with schoolwork and encourage learning in a fun way. Reading is also one of my main hobbies! I also grew up helping care for my younger brother with special needs, which taught me patience, adaptability, and compassion from a young age. I’m very comfortable with pets! I have a 4-year-old dog that I absolutely adore, so I’m happy to care for furry family members as well. I’m reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and parents have peace of mind.
