About Michaela

Hi my name is Michaela! Originally from Oxford, England, I moved to the US in 2000. I am now happily married with two beautiful children. Finn is 5 and Penny is 2. My professional career is primarily in the interior design and floral industries but I have always been highly passionate about children and their well being and care. I advocated for families in need during my time working at the Wayne Dench Center and I was a grief counselor for children at New Hope for Kids. The oldest of four, I am nurturing and love to teach and lead by example. I believe warmth and kindness and love can all be sensed and the energy we give off helps determine the behavior we get back. I know how hard it is to trust our most precious babies to be in someone else’s care while we provide for them (and the mental load of the juggle!) I pride myself on being a great communicator.
