Hi! My name is Aubree, and I’m an 18-year-old freshman in college who loves working with children. My love for babysitting started when my little sister was born 11 years ago. I’ve been helping care for her and babysitting my younger cousins since I was about 10 years old, and I’ve professionally babysat for two years. I love babysitting because of the special connections you build with children and families. Growing up with a single mom, I understand how helpful it is for parents to have someone they can trust and rely on. I’m very bubbly, caring, patient, and positive, and I love creating a fun and comfortable environment for kids. I’m comfortable communicating with children of all ages, and I think being young helps me connect with them on a deeper level because I can relate to many of their interests and experiences. I have experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. I’ve babysat my little sister and cousins for many years and have professionally babysat for two years. I’m comfortable helping with homework, preparing snacks and meals, playing games, doing crafts, following bedtime routines, and keeping children entertained and safe. I’m hardworking, responsible, dependable, patient, organized, caring, and a good problem solver. I’m also a strong communicator and always make sure parents feel informed and comfortable. I have CPR training and completed a babysitting course when I was around 14, where I learned important childcare and safety skills.
