I recently relocated to Sarasota from New York and am looking for a wonderful local family who needs a dependable, experienced, and caring person to help with their children. Children have been a part of my professional and personal life for decades. Earlier in my career, I worked as a special education teacher and in behavior analysis with Orange County Public Schools. I later spent many years working within the New York court system, including Guardian ad Litem work, treatment court, and adoption-related matters. These experiences gave me an extensive understanding of children, families, child development, and the importance of providing children with consistency, patience, and a safe environment. I hold a Doctorate in Education and have spent much of my life teaching, advocating for, and caring for children, including children with special needs and behavioral or educational challenges. At this point in my life, I am looking for something more personal and rewarding. I would love to find a kind Sarasota-area family who is looking for someone mature and trustworthy to provide excellent care for their children. I am comfortable helping with homework, educational activities, transportation, routines, and simply making sure children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I have excellent references available and would be happy to provide them. I am looking forward to finding the right family and becoming someone both the parents and children can truly depend on.
