Hi! My name is Jocelyn, and I have several years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids. I am currently a Psychology student, and I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel safe in a positive and nurturing environment. Throughout my childcare experience, I have worked as a babysitter, nanny, mother’s helper, and family assistant. I have cared for multiple children at once, including families with up to six children. My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, assisting with homework, creating engaging activities, transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities, managing bedtime routines, helping with potty training, supervising playdates, and ensuring children’s safety at all times. I enjoy planning fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, reading, games, and age-appropriate learning activities. I believe in creating a balance between fun, structure, and positive reinforcement to help children thrive. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable helping with light housekeeping related to the children, organizing play areas, children’s laundry, meal preparation, running errands, and assisting families with daily household tasks when needed. Families describe me as dependable, patient, organized, trustworthy, and caring. I understand the importance of open communication with parents and strive to provide reliable, attentive care while treating every child with kindness, respect, and encouragement. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and happy.
