About Laura

I'm tri-lingual with over 15 years of experience working with children. I also have 5+ years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I just finished with my MD Degree this past December and plan to apply for pediatric and family medicine residency the following year. I enjoy enhancing children learning through creative play and educational games. I am comfortable caring for up to 3 children at a time. I am patient, creative, and approachable. I communicate with parents through regular updates, tailoring my approach to your preferred method. I have worked as a dance teacher assistant for 6 years for ages 2-12. During college I volunteered with an organization called Splash Pals which pairs volunteers with children with disability in order to allow them to have a safe fun environment in the pool. I have regularly volunteered at my church Sunday school alternating between 0-11 months and 1-3 years. I'm also a mama to two feather babies whose name is Cookie and Peekaboo.
