Hi! My name is Kchayil ‘Angel’ Dunbar, and I have been working with children since my senior year of high school in 2024. Over the years, I have gained experience caring for children ranging in age from 2 to 13 years old and have developed strong skills in both childcare and education. In addition to my childcare experience, I have paid experience as a middle school tutor, where I helped students strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and develop effective study habits. I am currently a Biology student at Howard University, where I am also pursuing a minor in Maternal & Child Health. I will graduate with the Class of 2027 and plan to attend medical school afterward. My educational background has given me a deeper understanding of child development, health, and wellness, which complements my hands-on experience working with children and families. Through my experience, I have grown into a nanny role and am comfortable assisting families with a variety of responsibilities, including childcare, meal preparation, cooking, transportation to and from school and extracurricular activities, homework help, tutoring, light housekeeping, and maintaining daily routines. I understand the importance of creating structure while also ensuring children feel supported, safe, and engaged. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, organized, and compassionate. My goal is to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are receiving attentive and reliable care. I look forward to connecting with families and providing professional, trustworthy, and high-quality childcare services.
