Hello my name is Lucy! I'm 23 years old and am an Elementary Education major at West LA College (formerly attending Cal State Long Beach) I currently work as a paraprofessional in a 2nd-grade classroom. Working with children isn't just my job, it's something I truly enjoy and hope to continue as a future educator. :) I have experience caring for children from 4 months old through elementary age. Before working in an elementary school, I worked at a daycare with toddlers which gave me hands on experience with every stage of early childhood, from naps and diaper changes to helping school aged kids with homework, building confidence and encouraging independence! ☀️ I love creating fun and engaging experiences for kids, whether that's arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor adventures, reading together, educational games, or simply joining in on whatever sparks their imagination! I'm happy to follow your family's routine and understand that every child has their own unique personality and needs! My goal is to be someone your children are excited to see and someone you can feel completely comfortable leaving them with. I'm patient, dependable, organized and genuinely care about helping children feel safe, supported and encouraged while having fun. I'd love the opportunity to support your family!
