About Amira

As the oldest of nine siblings, I have spent my life caring for and working with children of all ages. Growing up in such a large family gave me extensive hands-on experience teaching, supervising, and creating a safe, supportive environment for younger children. In addition to my family experience, I worked as a dance instructor for two years and as a youth gymnastics instructor, teaching children ages 2–12. I have also been babysitting for local families for over four years, allowing me to build experience caring for children outside of my own family. Throughout this time, I have cared for children ranging from 6 months to 13 years old. Because my youngest sister is 16 years younger than I am, I have significant experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changes, bedtime routines, and age-appropriate activities. These experiences have strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to connect with children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
