About Roda

Hi families! My name is Roda, and I’m looking for part-time, occasional, or long-term babysitting opportunities. I able to start ASAP I can help with infant and toddler care, homework and learning activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and keeping children engaged through fun and age appropriate activities. I currently attend San Francisco State University and am preparing to begin my master’s program in Biology. Working with children has always been something I’ve genuinely enjoyed, and I love being able to build meaningful connections with the families I work with. Most of my childcare experience comes from spending years caring for the children of family and friends. I also grew up volunteering regularly at my local church and community centers, where I had the opportunity to work with children of different ages and backgrounds. In addition, I previously worked with individuals with autism, helping support them in their daily lives and encouraging them to reach their goals. Those experiences taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment. Families would describe me as dependable, caring, patient, and easy to communicate with. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your children, and I always do my best to make both children and parents feel comfortable and supported.
