About Marlene
I am a fun loving person who enjoys the outdoors. I homeschooled my kids, was a Little League Baseball coach, served as a Cub Scout leader and a Boy Scout leader. I was a Police Explorer Advisor for several years both in AZ and California. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. I hold an AA and am an English major with an Art minor. I am big into crafts, music, and books. I love animals and have had a menagerie throughout my life. I enjoy teaching and mentoring young minds. I spent 30 years in a career I absolutely enjoyed and am now retired, excited to embrace a new chapter in my life. I love to teach and feel I have a lot to offer in the way of academic, creative, and emotional growth. I am not political in any way and will not discuss anything regarding politics, religion, or whose momma's cooking is the best; all unwinnable arguments!
