About Ashley

My name is Ashley, and I am currently attending Cabrillo College studying nursing. I am a responsible, caring, and hardworking person who enjoys helping others and giving back to my community. My goal is to build a career in the medical field, and I am especially interested in working with children in the future. I have more than five years of experience babysitting and nannying. Working with children has taught me patience, responsibility, communication, and how important it is to create a safe and positive environment. I truly enjoy working with kids, helping them learn, preparing meals, keeping them organized, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My experience with children is one of the reasons I became interested in working with them in healthcare. I also have more than three years of volunteering experience. Volunteering is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping people and giving back to my community. It has taught me how to work with different people, be dependable, and understand the importance of kindness and teamwork. Outside of school and volunteering, I enjoy cleaning, organizing, cooking, meal prepping, and planning. I take pride in keeping things organized and maintaining a clean environment. I am someone who likes to stay productive and make sure things are taken care of. As I continue my education, I hope to gain more experience, learn new skills, and become the best version of myself. I know nursing will require dedication and hard work, but I am excited about the opportunity to help others and make a positive difference in their lives. I am proud of the experiences I have gained so far, and I look forward to everything I will learn in the future.
