Hi! My name is Shelby, and I am an experienced and dependable sitter with a strong background caring for children of all ages. I recently got married in Monroe, NC and moved to Charlotte after graduating from the University of Alabama. I have been babysitting and nannying for about seven years and hold Red Cross babysitting certification, CPR certification, lifeguard certification, and have completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. In the past, I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Goldfish Swim School, where I taught children ages six months to twelve years old water safety and swimming skills. This past summer, I also coached toddler baseball and soccer. In addition to hands-on childcare, I was involved in elementary tutoring programs during college, including ALS Pals and Reading Allies. I also worked as a kindergarten extended day teacher at Verner Elementary School. I truly love babysitting and nannying and feel very comfortable and confident caring for children. I have a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and am happy to assist with any driving needs. I am comfortable with children of all ages and have additional experience with toddlers and infants through early childhood development training and nannying for two newborns.
