About Meagan

Hello! My name is Meagan L and I am 21 in Pharmacy School at Samford University. I’m so excited to help out your family with anything I can! I have been working around kids for almost 7 years now, and have been working at my current church nursery job for 6 years. I worked in daycare for a few summers as well as worked for the Vestavia school system as an EDP teacher. Off-Campus Involvement

I am involved at my church, Asbury United Methodist. For almost 6 years, I have worked in our Nursery program. While here, I am able to interact, play, and feed and change diapers as it is needed. Additionally, I have worked in a Mother’s Day Out program named CASA for the past 4 Summers assisting the lead teacher with different activities as well as interacting, feeding, playing, and changing diapers as needed.

On-Campus Activity

On campus, I am involved in my sorority zeta tau alpha. I have very much enjoyed my sisterhood and the time I have spent with zeta. I have learned so much from my sisters and about myself through this. I was able to participate in step sing with my sorority last year as well as this year. , Additionally, in undergraduate, I was involved in the Pre-pharmacy club. My first year we participated in things virtually. Last year, I held the social chair position and was able to have fun events like movie nights, Halloween party, and a Christmas party. , While in my first year of graduate school, I have joined the the pediatric pharmacy association in my student chapter. I have enjoyed the meetings and hearing from different pediatric pharmacists and what they do. additionally, I’ve joined the fundraising committee to help raise money for our chapter and pediatric research.
