About Madelyn

I am a Senior Psychology major Neuroscience minor at Samford University this year. I started babysitting when I was sixteen years old and have gained 5+ years of experience. I have enjoyed babysitting for children ranging from 2 months old to 8 years old. I enjoy reading, writing, hiking/long walks, playing with my dog, and visiting local coffee shops. While I am not new to babysitting I am new to Wyndy, and I cannot wait to see what opportunities come from it!

I was in Phi Mu at my University up until my Junior year when I had to leave for work/internships.

Off-Campus Activity

I got my Youth Protection Certification in 2022. I enjoy taking American Sign Language classes with the hopes of becoming bilingual one day. I have volunteered as a camp counselor for children who’s family member has battled or is currently battling Breast Cancer for seven years now. I love making a positive impact on my community and letting every person I meet feel seen and heard by me.

On-Campus Activity

I am in Samford’s Red Cross Club and Samford’s Psychology Club. I joined the Red Cross Club because of my passion for helping others. I joined the Psychology Club because of my love for the field and wanting a deeper knowledge in the subject matter.
