About Allison

Hello! I’m Allison and I’m a sophomore at Samford University. I recently returned from a semester abroad in London, and I am studying Human Development and Family Sciences with future plans to be a School Counselor. I’m from Johnson City, Tennessee. I am Tennessee State Industry Certified in Human and Social Science and worked at my high school’s daycare for 4 years. I’ve nannied for many families back home during the summers, and have been babysitting around the Birmingham area since moving to Samford! I have lots of experience with special needs individuals ranging in age from infants to adults and I currently attend Dawson Memorial Baptist where I volunteer with the adult special needs class. I am also involved in the Dawson Sanctuary Orchestra. I love kids, and I’m more than willing to send a resume or send recommendations from past jobs!

Allison was wonderful! She was warm and immediately connected with my kids as well as with my brother (who has Down Syndrome) for whom we needed a caregiver for the evening.
