My husband and I have three adult children, a daughter and two sons and enjoy a close knit extended family. Called to the vocation of teaching, I have been a high school teacher for over thirty years.While I remained home with the children when they were young, I returned to the classroom when our youngest entered first grade. I understand and appreciate the challenge of finding reliable childcare in the home. In my personal time I enjoy cooking/baking, reading and playing with our dogs and time spent outside. Additionally, I remain active and engaged in the lives of my own children.My schedule permits me to provide after school care beginning at 3:45 pm.

My name is Sky, and I’m a passionate and experienced childcare provider with a strong background working with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, and children with special needs.I have several years of experience in childcare and education, including working in preschools, school-age programs, summer camps, and as a babysitter/nanny. I’ve also worked closely with children with developmental and communication needs and have experience providing individualized, hands-on support. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work at a summer camp specifically for children with cancer and their siblings, which was an incredibly meaningful experience and further strengthened my passion for working with children.I’m currently pursuing my education with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Oncology Nurse, so caring for children is not only something I have extensive experience with, but something I genuinely love and hope to build my career around.
