Hello there!! My name is Hannah K, I am 21 years old, and a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Psychology. I’m originally from California but recently moved to NYC as I am an incoming Master’s student at Columbia University for Mental Health Counseling this fall.I am fluent in English and have limited proficiency in Korean. I am very excited for the opportunity to be a babysitter and to support families in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for their children.I have been working and volunteering with children since high school and throughout college in a variety of settings. This includes roles as a childcare worker at local community centers as well as volunteering with refugee organizations. Through these experiences, I have received training in culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, and I have learned how to support children with diverse backgrounds, needs, and experiences in a compassionate and patient way.My academic background in psychology has also strengthened my understanding of child and adolescent development, emotional regulation, and the importance of stable, supportive relationships in early life. I genuinely love working with kids and find it incredibly rewarding to help them feel safe, confident, and cared for.I would describe myself as warm, responsible, attentive, and dependable. I also bring a strong sense of initiative and adaptability, and I am always eager to learn and grow in order to better support the families I work with. Whether it’s helping with homework, engaging in creative play, or maintaining routines, I aim to provide attentive and thoughtful care tailored to each child’s needs.

Howdy! I’m Bea and I have been working in childcare since about 7th grade. Growing up in a small town meant babysitting was a great way to earn some summer cash, and I’m going back to my roots! I also spent several years working at a camp and conference center, where I mostly worked in summer camp, kids camp, and family camp programs.
