I am currently in my masters program to become a clinical mental health counselor for children and adolescents. I plan to also have a specialization in foster care! I started babysitting at 14, and once I started driving, I began working at the YMCA in the childcare department. I did our afterschool as well as summer programs with ages 5-12. I have also worked in the church nursery as well as at a preschool with infants-5 years old. I especially love watching infants and toddlers because of their sweet and precious dispositions! However, I also love working with kids that are no longer toddlers because they’re so fun and energetic.Infants are my ideal jobs. I have so much love, compassion, and patience with them. I have several families that I am lucky to know, and that have given me the privilege of loving on their little one. I am working on applying to medical school in the fall and spend most of my days studying for my MCAT exam. However, when I am not attached to my laptop I love to spend time outside playing with my furry best friend, Nash. I have an extensive background in childcare.
