Hi! I’m Kenya and I just graduated from Alabama with my early childhood and elementary education degree. Now, I work as an algebra teacher in north Fort Worth and absolutely love my job. In the past, I have tutored for Alabama Athletics and loved interacting and learning from the athletes. In my spare time, I love to read and always have my Kindle on me. If you’re into music, I grew up playing flute and being in marching band. My internship experiences have been with all ages, infants through 6th grade. I have previously worked in an infant room with babies 4-9 months, cataloguing sleep, feedings, and diaper changes. I love working with all ages and showing them how fun their community can be by going to the library or local swimming pool. At home, I taught swim lessons to all kids (infants to adults), so if you’re interested, I’d love to share what I’ve learned!
