I love working with kids, and I’m currently studying nursing with plans to become a pediatric nurse. I finished my freshman year of college in May and then attended a 10-week school program in Hawaii starting in late August. I just returned and am looking for a nanny or babysitting jobs until I go back to Hawaii to continue school around March (late spring). I have been babysitting since 8th grade and continued throughout high school, including nannying during my senior year. I also babysat all throughout my freshman year of college. In addition, I have volunteered at nonprofit childcare organizations and in the childcare program at my local church.

Hey! My name is Ta’Myia, but you can call me Myia. I’m 22 years old with a bachelor’s in psychology. I decided to pursue psychology because I would love to be a child psychologist. My main inspiration for this career path is that I want to be a child advocate for children in need. Sometimes they just need someone that will help them process their feelings. Currently, I’m a registered behavior technician (working with children with autism.) I also have experience with type 1 diabetes and overseeing insulin injections. My niece was diagnosed 7 years ago so I am quite educated when it comes to type 1 diabetics.
