Hi, my name is Sierra! I’m currently a freshman at UCF studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. I’ve always had a natural love for children and genuinely enjoy connecting with them, learning their personalities, and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment.I lost my little sister when she was young (6) and I’ve always cherished the memories of her younger energy and the time we spent playing together. I find that same sunshine in every child I meet, which is one of the reasons I love working with children so much. I have about five years of babysitting experience and really enjoy building connections with both children and their families. As someone with significant hearing loss who wears hearing aids, I have a personal understanding of disabilities and communication differences, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and especially passion for creating an inclusive environment for every child.
